Say YES to Raw Goat Milk
A lot of popular goat milk skincare brands claim to use "goat milk", making one think it's the real deal but by digging deeper, you come to understand they use powdered goat milk. Sure, it's cheaper for them but why do you still pay top dollar? Powdered goat milk is clinically a secondary byproduct that doesn't even come close to the skin-glowing benefits of the raw version.
O My! Bath and Body goat milk skincare only uses Raw Goat Milk in all of our body-loving products to clean and hydrate skin 24/7.
Did you know Raw Goat Milk contains all of the following? It has Vitamins A, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12, D, & E. Tons of Minerals, including Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, Iron, Selenium, Copper & Manganese. Plus Enzymes, Acids, Complete Protein, Healthy Fats & Oligosaccharides.
So stick with the best farm to skin bath and body brand you've come to know and trust. O My! Bath and Body
The History of Wet Shaving and Its Skin Benefits
Wet shaving is more than a grooming routine — it’s a ritual rooted in history that delivers healthier, smoother skin. Whether you're embracing tradition or seeking relief from harsh commercial products, switching to wet shaving with high-quality natural soaps like O My! Goat Milk Shaving Soap is a smart, skin-loving move.
A Brief History of Wet Shaving
Wet shaving dates back thousands of years, with evidence of early tools found as far back as ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Here’s a timeline of key developments:
- 3000 BC (Egypt & Mesopotamia): Early razors made of copper and obsidian were used, often with water and natural oils to soften the beard.
- Ancient Rome & Greece: Wealthy men used sharpened metal razors, paired with animal fat or soap made from olive oil and ash.
- 1700s–1800s (Europe): The straight razor became common, and barbershops flourished. Soap-based lather was whipped up with a brush and applied before shaving.
- 1900s: The invention of the safety razor and later, cartridge razors, made home shaving accessible. Shaving creams became aerosolized, leading to the popular use of foam and gel.
Despite the convenience of canned foams and disposable razors, traditional wet shaving has remained a staple for grooming purists.
The Wet Shaving Revival
The decline began in the earty 20th centry with the invention of the safety razor made shaving at home easier and safer. Barbershops continued as the community hubs offering a place for men to socially connect as wet shaves shifted to home routines. Then there was a rise of electric razors which reduced the demand for professional wet shaving even further.
Starting in the 21st century, there was a resurgence of traditional barbershops offering wet shaves. Men began seeking nostalgic, high-quality grooming experiences rather than quick, impersonal cuts.
Wet shaving returned as part of a broader appreciation for craftsmanship, ritual, and luxury. Classic tools—straight razors, safety razors, shaving brushes, and artisan soaps—regained popularity.
Today, with O My! Goat Milk Shaving Soap Sticks, you can take the upscale premium shave with you when you travel or at home. It blends old-world tradition with modern luxury and delivers non-stop silky-feeling shaves.
How to Use
No Bowl Needed
That's right! No bowl needed! O My! goat milk shaving soap sticks were imagined while adding miles under our feet! So they were created for the traveler in mind or anyone that doesn't have a bowl or brush. Simply twist open the cap and the soap awaits your next move.
No Brush Needed
No need for a brush to soften and lather. Simply soften the stubble by getting a bath, shower or just wetting your face at the sink. This helps to open the pores & weaken the grip on the hair, preparing skin for a great shave. The water also interacts with the soap stick to create a working lather.
Lather and Shave
Utilizing the hair that will be shaved, run the soap stick in a circular motion over the stubble. This hair picks up the shaving soap and works the water and the soap together, into a rich lather. To achieve a thicker lather, run water over the soap stick and repeat circular motions.
Let it Air Dry
After using, allow it to air-dry before putting the cap back on. Doing so allows for a longer lasting soap. Try to avoid water pooling in the center of the soap. This prevents the soap from turning into a mushy mess.
